Vanessa is the lead designer at Anthusiant, a floral studio based in the Hudson Valley. Why the name “Anthusiant?” It’s a marriage between ‘anthophile,’ a person drawn to flowers, and the ‘enthusiast,’ which means to be inspired. We take this inspiration from nature and imbue each of our creations with its whimsy and beauty. We are also inspired by you, the client. Your life, passions and tastes motivate us to create unique pieces for your special event.
Driven by a deep curiosity about flowers and their place in the world, Vanessa has continued to expand her knowledge through international floral workshops in London and Tokyo. These experiences have broadened her understanding of floral techniques and design approaches, deepened her appreciation for the history and cultural perspectives behind floral traditions, and inspired her to explore more thoughtful and sustainable practices for the future of the industry.
